Hi knitters!!

Today we are teaching you a new way to cast off stitches. As you already know, there are a few different ways to finish your WAK designs.

We propose you this simple technique so you can chose how to cast off the stitches and get the most out of your design. This technique offers more elasticity, so collars and sleeves will look perfect.

The first thing we have to do in order to cast off stitches is leaving enough wool which is a measure of 4 times the length of the stitches we would like to close.

It is also necessary to use the small and blue needle during this knitting process in order to thread the wool correctly.

Let’s begin..!

1. Without leaving your left WAK needle and using the small and blue needle too, knit the first two stitches from the right to the left side.

2. From left to right, take the first stitch that has been already taken and put out the small and blue needle.

3. We need to stitch up with our left WAK needle the stitch from step 2.

Repeat these three steps until you close all stitches.

This simple technique with only 3 steps will guarantee you professionalism and an awesome WAK design. Here you have an example.

We encourage you to try this new technique and let us see your creations on Instagram.
