Hi knitters!

Today we will learn how to knit invisible seams in garter stitch but on the opposite sides.

You can use this new technique on all your WAK designs to fuse different parts of a sweater for example. It’s very useful due that nobody will notice the sewing between the back and the front. It’s a piece of cake. Just start!

Garter stitch

1. Face both pieces you want to knit together, so that the large threads stay on the same side.

2. Cast on one of the threads onto one your knitter’s sewing needle.

3. We start fusing the first two stitches of each piece together.

4. Now you can see that the rows in garter stitch are facing. We need to knit in zig-zag from one side to the other, sewing the end of each row.

Continue with the zig-zag technique with the knitter’s sewing needle until you join both pieces of your sweater.

As you can appreciate, this technique is easy to learn and very useful for your designs.

We are waiting to see your creations and designs fused with invisible steam on Instagram! 😉 #weareknitters
