If you’re looking for a cool, summery stitch, you can’t miss this lace pattern! It’s perfect for all
types of garments and lightweight accessories, and it’s much easier to knit than it seems.
You can combine it with any of our other stitch patterns to create a totally unique design. For
this example, we used our Pima cotton.

To be able to make the decreases indicated in the pattern, use these instructions:
SK2TPO (slip, k2t,pass over)(watch video)
SKPO: To make a SKPO, slip 1 stitch as if you were going to knit it. Knit the next stitch. Using
your left-hand needle pass the slipped stitch over the knit stitch.
Knit 3 together: knit 3 stitches together as if they were 1.
Row 1: *purl 1, knit 1, SKPO, yarn over twice, knit 2 together, purl 1, SKPO, yarn over twice,
knit 2 together, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 2: knit 1. *Purl 2, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 3, knit 1*. Repeat from * to *
until the end of the row.
Row 3: *purl 1, knit 2 together, yarn over, knit 3, purl 1, knit 3, yarn over, SKPO*. Repeat from
* to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 4: knit 1. *Purl 5, knit 1, purl 5, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Row 5: *purl 1, knit 2, yarn over twice, purl 3 together, purl 1, SK2TPO (watch video), yarn over
twice, knit 2*. Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 6: knit 1. *Purl 2, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, purl 3, knit 1*. Repeat from * to *
until the end of the row.
Row 7: *purl 1, yarn over, slip 1, SKPO, knit 1, knit 2 together, yarn over, purl 1, yarn over, slip 1, SKPO, knit 1, knit 2 together, yarn over*. Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 8: knit 1. *Purl 5, knit 1, purl 5, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Row 9: *purl 1, knit 1, yarn over twice, SK2TPO, knit 1, purl 1, knit 1, knit 3 together, yarn over
twice, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 10: knit 1. *purl 1, knit 1, purl 3, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1, purl 2, knit 1*. Repeat from * to *
until the end of the row.
Row 11: *purl 1, SKPO, knit 1, yarn over, knit 2, purl 1, knit 2, yarn over, knit 1, knit 2
together*. Repeat from * to * until 1 stitch remains, purl 1.
Row 12: knit 1. *Purl 5, knit 1, purl 5, knit 1*. Repeat from * to * until the end of the row.
Repeat these 12 rows until you reach the desired length.
