This chevron stitch is one of the most versatile that we can find in the world of knitting. You can use it to make a scarf, a baby blanket, or add it to a knit garment. You decide how you like it best!

Getting this sort of “arrow” is easy and you won’t have a problem knitting it, even if you are a beginner. With our Pima cotton and our video tutorial, you can’t go wrong.

Multiple of 14 stitches + 2. Not reversible.

Row 1: purl all stitches.

Row 2: knit 1, knit 1 through the front and back loop to increase 1, knit 4, SKPO, knit 2 together and knit 4. *Knit 1 through the front and back loop to increase 1, knit 1 through the front and back loop to increase 1, knit 4, SKPO, knit 2 together, knit 4*. Repeat from * to * until there are 2 stitches remaining. Knit 1 through the front and back loop to increase 1, knit 1.

Row 3: purl all stitches.

Row 4: work the same as row 2

Repeat these 4 rows until you reach the desired length.

For this tutorial we used Pima cotton in the color mint and 5 mm wooden needles, but you can use the WAK yarn that you like best.
