Have you used WAK patterns in the past? What has been your favourite
I have made a couple of We Are Knitters patterns! I made the Cheeky Monkey cardigan for Robbie and also a longer line cardigan for Lance too. I really enjoyed the pattern and it was super easy to follow.
What was the inspiration behind the collaboration and patterns?
I was making was a dada sweater out of another We Are Knitters pattern. I went a bit off-piste and adapted the sleeves – and fell in love! So the sleeves for that sweater were a massive inspiration for my We Are Knitters pattern <link?> – as you can see, I’ve gone big on the flared wrists!

Why do you love knitting?
It’s become my happy place. It allows me to be calm, still and be extremely mindful. So I first got out the knitting needles in March 2020 and I haven’t looked back – and knitting’s now been with me for some of the bigger moments in my life and each piece really means something.
What are your knitting plans for the future?
I would love to continue to design more knitwear and make it normal to knit in public!! I’ve loved chatting to people on Made With Love, and found there’s now a real sense of community of fellow-knitters! I’m rather chuffed if I’ve encouraged someone to pick up the needles, learn the basics, and fall in love with knitting
