Hi knitters!!

Today we are going to learn: how to knit jacquard with crochet. With this simple technique, you will be able to decorate your WAK crochet patterns.

For this post, we are going to knit a … in 3X3, with fabric yarns and in double crochet. We will do two color changes during our design: once you know the technique, it’s very easy to combine the colors you like. So many as you can imagine!

Cast on enough stitches to be able to knit the design, knit 3 stitches and be ready to change the color:

1. We need our WAK crochet needle to yarn over 2 stitches in double crochet.

2. Take the thread of the new color and complete the yarn over.

3. Continue knitting as usual until you have 3 stitches of that color completed. You will be knitting the new color onto the thread of the color that is not in use (for the moment).

After the first row, turn on your design and continue knitting the next row from upside down. You need to do the first stitch in Chain Stitch. Follow these steps until you have finished your jacquard with the wished print.
